25 THINGS YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT ME (25 randoms from ate joi)

1. I am Josephine Luz Deleon and was named after St. Joseph, for my birthday falls on his feast day. My close friends call me Josh while others call me Jho, Josie, Phine, and Jophine. You may hear my “The Industrialist” family calls me Jopay or Jops. Others also call me Kitchie, Sarah and Kris (these are Filipino artist na kamukha ko daw).

2. Writing is my second world. I write a lot. I write my emotions, either happiness, angst or pains. Most of the time, I can effectively explain myself through writing. And funny, there are also times that I need to write my emotions or whatever idea first before I can say them. The bottom line here, writing is my outlet. Good thing writing is my second job. And hope to publish my own book! I am Josh and I am a writer.

3. I am a Math teacher by profession. I graduated BSecondary Education major in Mathematics at DHVCAT and currently pursuing my Masters degree, Master of Arts in Mathematics Education, at the University of Santo Tomas. To be able to touch lives not only on what I teach but also on how I cared for my students future means a lot to me. The fulfilment of a teacher isn’t measure on the salary paid but on the values, respect and appreciation of your students given to you. I am Josh, I want to inspire, and I am an educator.

4. The love that I have for my family cannot be compared to anything in this world. It is the root of my values and of whoever and whatever I am now. My family is the reason why I strive so hard and I know what I have for my family now will be the foundation for the family I want to build in the future. I am Josh and I love my family.

5. Ambitious and goal-oriented maybe these are some of the descriptions that may be associated with me. I dream a lot but I do not over dream for it is frustrating. I aim high to those I think I can possibly reach. I know my abilities and my inabilities, so from there I build my dreams. I am Josh and I aim high.

6. I want to be the president of my company; or just even have a good business that can support my family even when I want to rest from work. I want to use my skills of course I should utilize the gifts that God gave me. I am Josh and I’ll be a business woman.

7. I am fascinated with astronomy. I love to know more of the planets, the solar system and the universe. I actually made a poem about the solar system to which each characteristic was used to symbolized things as an offering to your love one. I am josh and I my thoughts can reach the other space.

8. I am a friend of many. So friendly and approachable as other says. But there are also times that I am so snub. It is not that I am but I am not just in mood of giving my precious smiles to others. heheh.. But to tell you, I can be the best friend that anyone would always want. Ask Mae, April, and my friends and they will tell you.

9. I have the killer smile. This is not a statement that came from me but to many people I have met. This maybe one of my assets. At first I am not really aware of it. But many fell in love with my smile. (I’m not trying to raise my chair, hehe). My smile looks good to me, they say and it compliments my eyes.

10. I love color blue but I am also attracted to other colors. I am not bias to blue but when I choose things, I always end up choosing blue. Blue simply symbolizes peace, and it relaxes me when I am surrounded by color blue. And also brown for you can associate it with any color especially in choosing clothes. I am Josh and I want peace.

11. I love roses and tulip. I love things in nature. I love receiving flowers and always been happy when I received them in surprise. I just can’t explain how it feels when I receive bouquet of flowers or even a single peace. Maybe because I simply feel special. I am Josh and I am sentimental.

12. I love bears! They are my collections. I have a variety of bears in my room but I want more! I dreamt of having a single room for my bears like the one I saw in bear cuddler. It is so nice! I am josh and I am simply a collector of teddy bears!

13. I love taking pictures! I always want to have a photo of the events in my life so I’ll have something to reminisce when old time comes. I value memories and the things that happen to me everyday. I believe that everything has a reason and everything is worth remembering. I am josh and join me in my pictures!

14. I sleep on the left side. Basically, I am a left handed person that is when I work, evidently in kitchen works. But I do write using my right hand. At least I can balance the use of my both hands.

15. I love singing, but I do not sound well. ( But I do sing in my bathroom. hehe) I love dancing, and I do dancing but I am not that good with it. But I am very bad in acting. Maybe I am just very conscious with how I look. (laugh) Same with I do play guitar, but again, I just know the basics.

16. I day dream of walking in the isle and marrying the man I love. And my dream wedding is like a scenario of a fairytale wedding; where I am the Cinderella and my prince is waiting for me near the altar. Hehehe..that is just day dreaming. Anyways, the important thig here is just simply marrying the man you love and the one you want to spend your life forever.

17. If there will be one accessory that will be with me everywhere I go, that will be earrings. I feel incomplete without wearing it. I love earrings but I still do not have one that will last for years. Wasn’t yet able to buy one. Sooo sad! But I’ll have that one day!

18. I love pets. I love dogs and cats. You can’t imagine me how much I cried when I lost my pets. It’s like losing love ones. I cry hard! I wish to have a breed dog or cat!

19. I am emotional and sentimental. My emotions are real. I am very transparent to whatever I feel. My emotion may be my strength and my weakness as well. But I do not care. The important is I know what I have in my heart. When I say I love you, I mean it.

20. If there will be one reason that I don’t want to ruin me is the issue of money. Anything that involves money! I don’t want to ruin my reputation, any relationship I have with friends and love one, respect, and anything with MONEY!

21. I hate people dictating what I should feel and what should I do. Guide me but not dictate me. And I hate people invading my private life and judge it as if they were all good! I value my privacy.

22. I am a very jolly person, fun to be with and can talk to you anything under the sun. But mind you, there are also times that I do not want to speak. That is when I am hungry and when I have or about to have my period. Hehe! And when I am mad, you can’t really force me to talk. I’ll just be silent rather than say words or things that I should not say.

23. I am an athletic person. And I do have an athletic built. Hai.. I gained muscles. Haha. I used to be the sprinter and bet of my college during my college years. I do play track events (dash events in particular), taekwondo, and badminton…and hope so billiards! (dhie taught me how to play it!) Hehehe! I do not play volleyball maybe because I have a traumatic experience with balls during my elementary years!

24. There are times that I find hard to appreciate those things I have and rather be frustrated to those that I don’t have. I am insecure sometimes. But its good I know how to fight my insecurities. To be insecure is bad, but there are times you just really can’t ignore it. Most of the time I need someone to tell me that he/she is lucky for having me despite of….

25. My life changed when Gideon, my Dhie, came into my life. Before, I find myself in vain; seeing my self achieving a lot yet feels empty at the end of the day. But now, I found all the reasons why life is worth living. I felt the sweetness of my bitter past. Nothing or no one can replace the happiness and love I found in him. And if God permits, I would lovely spend the rest of my life with him, and even lifetime isn’t enough. I love you my dhie!
